The Nigerian chess master, Guinness record holder arrived for the game of chess with Nord CEO in Nord A7 SUV.
Tunde Onakoya’s latest car is priced from ₦49.5m for the Luxury (1.6T) and ₦54.5m for the Luxury Pro (2.0T).
Nigerian chess master, Tunde Onakoya, has received a brand new Nord A9 SUV following of a game of chess with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nord Automobiles, Mr Oluwatobi Ajayi, which ended in a draw.
Tunde, who founded Chess in Slums Africa (CISA) and holds the Guinness World Records for the longest marathon chess game, had earlier arrived at Nord Head Quarters (HQ) in Lagos in a Nord A7 SUV to share a brilliant chess game with Mr Ajayi.
“Stepped in with the A7 swagger, drove out in full A9 glory,” Nord Automobiles wrote while sharing the news on its social media platforms.
“Nord Ambassador and Guinness world record holder @tunde_onakoya joined us at Nord HQ, shared a brilliant chess game with our CEO, and drove off in style—just like a champion should.”
Tunde Onakoya’s latest car, the Nord A9 SUV, is priced from ₦49,500,000 for the Luxury (1.6T) and ₦54,500,000 for the Luxury Pro (2.0T), according to the indigenous car maker.
Nord Ambassador
It will be recalled that Tunde Onakoya landed an ambassadorial role with the car brand last June after emerging victorious in a chess game with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Tunde, who founded Chess in Slums Africa and holds the Guinness World Records for the longest marathon chess game, disclosed this in a post shared on his X handle on Thursday.
His victory over Oluwatobi Ajayi landed him not only a brand ambassador role at the Lagos-based automobile company but also a brand new Made-in-Nigeria Nord A7 SUV.
